National Convening on Children’s Racial Learning
Bringing together leaders across sectors to build relationships and community and move toward working partnerships that will help fuel the emergence of a field of children’s racial learning and literacy.
“Every generation has the opportunity to remake the world.”

We're super excited to announce the country's first-ever (we think) National Convening on Children's Racial Learning! This event will bring together some 250 amazing professionals, representing key areas of work, to build community and help fuel the emergence of a robust field of learning and practice around children’s racial learning and literacy.
We know that the seeds of “racial” ideas and attitudes are planted when our children are babies and that racial beliefs and mindsets are hugely consequential in US life. We see the consequences in our schools and neighborhoods and in newspaper headlines every day.
Together, we can help to shift what and how US children learn about race. The time to deepen our investments in field-building and movement-building for healthy children's racial learning is NOW. The well-being of our multiracial society depends on it.
